Saturday, September 19, 2020 10 AM – 5 PM New Freedom Fest is an old-time “festival of small town life”. It includes music, arts and crafts, animals, food, games, a pie eating contest, an art tent with pumpkin painting, and much, much more – all centered around the beautiful and historic town of New Freedom, Pennsylvania.
Unfortunately due to health restrictions put in place due to Covid, we regret we will not be able to hold our Freedom run this year. We hope all our community takes the opportunity during this holiday to take some time to walk or run on their own and waive to your neighbors. We are excited to bring back this run and see all of you in 2021.
The Briggs & Stratton Murray Main Street Mile is a Freedom Fest favorite. Any age can participate in this fun run/walk. It begins at 8:45 a.m. at Sparks Hall on Murray State's campus. As you walk, or run with your family and friends, you head directly down the parade route and can find your perfect spot for viewing the FNB Bank Freedom Fest Parade.
